You smoothed out your beautiful wedding dress one last time, trying to calm your nerves. Today you were finally getting married to your best friend and the guy of your dreams, Japan.
...No, not the country. Well he was the personification of Japan, so maybe that meant that you were marrying the country...
Trying to figure out how all this worked still made your head hurt.
When you met him you could say it was love at first sight. The way his soft black hair swayed in the wind, the way he was so proper and shy, even his emotionless brown eyes had drawn you to him immediately. At the time you didn't know his secret of being a country, you had just known him as Kiku Honda.
When he did tell you his secret after a few months of being his friend you were...shocked to say the least. He then proceeded to introduce you to all the other countries, each one seeming to be very...interesting. You still stuck to Japan the whole time, while making sure to stay out of his personal bubble.
That's another thing you learned about Japan. He was very, and I mean VERY clear about his personal space. Any time someone would try to hug him he would bolt away, almost as fast as Italy can run in retreat, while muttering something about knowing how "awkward that was" for him.
Still though, he was one of your best friends, most people would say you were glued together (figuratively of course. Again, that would probably be to "awkward for him"). And so, even though you tried to talk yourself out of it several times, you did what most people do when their best friend is of the opposite gender.
You fell in love with him...
HARD!
But of course, since you didn't want to ruin your friendship you kept your feelings hidden the best you could. Even though it got tough at times, you still managed to pull it off...
That is, until the night when he took you to watch the sunset with him.
It had been a beautiful scene. You were visiting Japan (the land mass) with him. The way the sakura trees blew gently around the both of you, the sunlight glistening off the top of the hill, the amazing sky...It had just been too much. You accidently let it slip that you liked him. However, just as you had been about to run away, thinking your feelings weren't returned, he hugged you.
Yes that's right, you were the first person to ever hug Japan.
Then you started dating...then he proposed with the most amazing ring you had seen in your life...and now here you were, about to get married to him.
"(Name)!" You turned around and saw your bridesmaid, (best friend's name), standing at the door with a huge grin on her face.
"It's time to go (name). Everything's ready."
The butterflies in your stomach increased ten-fold as you followed her out of the room towards your awaiting fiancé. However the immediately ceased as the doors opened and you saw your beloved Japan standing there at the end of the isle. There were sakura trees everywhere, just as beautiful as the day you confessed. Your eyes fell on Japan, who looked amazing, and a small smile was present on his face.
Yes, the normally emotionless Japan was actually smiling.
You heard Austria playing the piano as you made your way through the isle, subtly making sure you didn't trip and fall. Chibitalia was stumbling in front of you, being the most adorable gender-neutral-chibi-flower child you had ever seen. Soon you were being handed off by your father and Japan gently held your hands, facing you. The rest of your ceremony was a blur, and before you knew it, both of you had said "I do".
"You may now kiss the bride." The minister said, while the crowd started breaking out into a polite applause.
"Arigato, (name). For everything." Japan said, gently cupping your face to kiss you.
"I love you Japan." You replied before beginning to lean into the kiss. Your lips were just about to meet his soft ones, he was so close...

Your fist hit the alarm clock and you quickly sat up, looking around excitedly for Japan. Until you realized...
"IT WAS A DREAM?! WHAT THE-" Then you broke off into a string of curses that you were sure would make even Romano impressed.
After calming down slightly, you looked over to where your cell phone sat, with a light blinking which meant you had a new message.
From Kiku (Japan) (BFF)
Konnichiwa (name). Do you still want to get together today?
You sighed slightly, before quickly sending a reply text saying that yes, you most certainly did want to hang out. Almost immediately after the reply was sent, he sent you another message.
From Kiku (Japan) (BFF)
Wonderful, I can't wait to see you.
Looking at that text made you heart flutter even though you knew he meant it just as friends. But between that dream and the text, you were certain you had come to a decision.
Today you were for sure going to tell him how you felt.

"[NAME], will you please pay attention? It's bad enough America is stuffing his face we don't need you to be off task, as well." Your attention turned back on to England. You were currently planning out tactics for war with the Allies; America, England, Russia, France, and somebody who nobody ever remembers. Canada, I think it is. Anyway, you were daydreaming, which was something uncharacteristic of you. Usually, you were brilliant at the meetings, but nowadays
eh.

"Japan! I'm so excited~!" you shouted through the phone, "I can't wait to see your home!"
It was the night before you were to set out for your friend's homeland, and you had celebrated by practically inhaling coffee, tea, soda, popcorn, and loads of other junk foods while watching anime. As a result, you had become crazy hyper, and decided to give your friend a call, along with a headache.
"Hai, I can't wait for your visit either, but, maybe we should get some sleep. After all, we are going to be spending a lot of time sightseeing tomorrow
"
"Well, I'm sorry! I can't sleep~! Will you help me go over what

Japan was just reading one of his favorite manga when suddenly laughter yanked him back to reality. Slightly irritated by the disturbance, his emotionless brown eyes peered over the top of his book and scanned the book store quickly for any sign of the laughter. Sure enough, he spotted a little girl who looked no older than ten. She was hiding behind a bookcase and was trying, but failing to cover her giggles behind her hand. Japan sighed, marked where he left off with a bookmark, and closed his book before he reluctantly got up from his seat and walked over to the giggly girl.
"Excuse me, but could you please stop laughing? I cannot concent
